The Kruger ACTIFLO® MEM process combines a high-rate clarification system followed by an ultrafiltration membrane system, therefore assuming system-wide responsibility for pretreatment and membrane.
ACTIFLO® MEM can be used in wastewater to reduce phosphorus to <0.02mg/L; or Drinking water to remove TOC and Turbidity. The ultrafiltration membrane system is an outside-in, PVDF pressurized system. ACTIFLO® MEM is a proven technology treating over 330MGD worldwide. The first installation was commissioned in 1998 to remove algae, TOC and pesticides. There are currently more than 50 ACTIFLO® MEM installations in operation worldwide.
