A Testimonial By A Headworks Bar Screen Owner

We go into December by highlighting one of our earlier projects located in Forest Grove, Oregon, on the western side of the USA.  Clean Water Services, a water resources management utility, owns and operates the Forest Grove Wastewater Treatment Facility. The Forest Grove facility treats approximately 3.7 million gallons of wastewater per day for residents of Forest Grove, Cornelius, Gaston and Banks.  In 2007, the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA), presented the Forest Grove facility, its Platinum Peak Performance Award!  This award is presented to wastewater treatment facilities that have perfect performance records for five consecutive calendar years.  Not only is Clean Water Services an award winning operator of wastewater treatment systems, it is also a strong supporter of the environment.  To its credit, it owns the Fernhill Wetlands, part of more than 700 acres in Forest Grove managed in partnership with the City of Forest Grove and Fernhill Wetlands Council (see related article in Headworks HeadsUp December 2015 issue).
