The ID 2PAD™ Two-Phase Anaerobic Digestion System separates the acid- and methane-forming stages of sludge digestion. Because pathogens are destroyed below detectable limits, the resulting biosolids are rated Class A and can be land-applied without restrictions in accordance with EPA regulations.
- Total hydraulic retention time is greatly reduced, which mean smaller digesters can be used and associated costs are lower.
- Aeration is not required, so energy costs are low.
- Existing Cannon® Mixer digester installations can be retrofitted economically for Class A biosolids production.
For digestion of primary and waste activated sludge, and for production of Class A biosolids, specify the ID 2PAD™ Two-phase Anaerobic Digestion System.
