Electromedia® VII is a unique permanent media filtration system integrating a special vessel design and proprietary media. Electromedia® VII is formulated for the filtration of cooling tower water at slightly elevated temperatures operating at near calcium carbonate saturation. Electromedia® VII effectively removes calcium carbonate, iron and other heavy metal precipitates.

Electromedia® VII is a unique permanent media filtration system integrating a special vessel design and proprietary media. Electromedia® VII is formulated for the filtration of cooling tower water at slightly elevated temperatures operating at near calcium carbonate saturation. Electromedia® VII effectively removes calcium carbonate, iron and other heavy metal precipitates.
Electromedia® VII is applied to open cooling tower recirculating streams to reduce cleaning cycles and improve heat transfer for:
- Lower Energy Costs
- Lower Maintenance Costs
- Lower Chemical Costs
- Less Down Time
- Less Maintenance -Heavy Duty Construction
- Filter Rate: 15 gpm per sq. ft.
- Backwash Rate: 20 gpm per sq. ft.
- Required Backwash Time: 6 minutes maximum.
- Clean Filter Differential Pressure: 2 to 4 psi.
- Terminal Differential Pressure: 25 psi.
