FILTRASORB® 300 is a high activity activated carbon used for water and wastewater treatment applications. This product is manufactured from select grades of bituminous coal, which is pulverized, reagglomerated with a suitable binder, activated and screened to an 8x30 U.S. Sieve particle size distribution. The Filtrasorb 300 is manufactured to higher adsorptive specifications than the Filtrasorb 100. The Filtrasorb 300 is a commonly used product for the removal of dissolved organic chemicals and taste & odor from drinking water. This product complies with the applicable provisions of AWWA Standard for Granular Activated Carbon, edition B604-96, the stringent extractable requirements of ANSI/NSF Standard 61 and the Food Chemical Codex (Spec/Product Bulletin) (MSDS).
