FILTRASORB® 200 is a general purpose activated carbon product used for water and wastewater treatment applications. The Filtrasorb 200 is commonly used for the removal of disinfection by-products and taste & odor in drinking water and for the dechlorination of water for use in beverage production

FILTRASORB® 200 is a general purpose activated carbon product used for water and wastewater treatment applications. The Filtrasorb 200 is commonly used for the removal of disinfection by-products and taste & odor in drinking water and for the dechlorination of water for use in beverage production. Filtrasorb 200 is manufactured from select grades of bituminous coal, which is pulverized, reagglomerated with a suitable binder, activated and screened to a 12x40 U.S. Sieve particle size distribution. This product complies with the applicable provisions of AWWA Standard for Granular Activated Carbon, edition B604-96, the stringent extractable requirements of ANSI/NSF Standard 61 and the Food Chemical Codex.
