    LD100- Gas Leak Detector

The Model LD100 is a gas leak detector to be used for monitoring atmospheric content of hazardous gases, specifically chlorine, sulfur dioxide, or ammonia.

  • AQCCleanAngle030510
Thermo Scientific AquaSensors DataStick AquaChlor Free Chlorine Sensor and Monitoring System This free chlorine sensor will measure accurately in processes that are between 4 and 9 pH. When used with the Thermo Scientific AV38 Local display unit and a pH measurement system, measured hypochlorous acid (HOCl) and hypochlorite ion (OCl¯) concentration can be used to determine free chlorine present.
  • Ultrameterii
Ultrameter II 6P™ Both Ultrameter II models deliver performance of ±1% of reading (not merely full scale). This high level of accuracy has been achieved through advanced four-electrode conductivity cell technology, a unique pH/ORP sensor and powerful microprocessor-based circuitry

ABOUT

WATER INSTRUMENTATION

Process instruments are used widely in water and wastewater treatment plants to monitor the effluent quality. However, their applications are not limited to monitoring effluent quality. These water and wastewater quality monitoring devices can be applied throughout the network of collection, treatment, and disposal

Instrumentation can give guarantee of proficient treatment processes of water quality parameters such as turbidity, pH, ORP, conductivity and dissolved oxygen.  Instrumentation is done in the following aspects.

  • Flow measurement
  • Stage /Level measurement
  • Physical and chemical water quality measurement
  • Biological water quality measurement
  • Water sediment and biota samplers
  • Data storage and management

Measurement Techniques include, Gravimetric analysis or, simply, weighing, Colorimetry or spectrophotometry, Titration, and Mass Spectrometry:

Platforms on which instrumentation can be carried out include

  • Stationary vertical profilers – Used for in situ sampling.
  • Flow-through systems -Most research ships have built-in flow-through systems that constantly circulate water collected a few meters from the surface.
  • Towed vehicles- towed vehicle such a system is able to provide a continuous series of data points for remote sensing applications where transect lines can follow the flight paths of a remote sensor.
  • Moored platforms - These stationary, or Eulerian, platforms offer data streams synoptically that match with satellite-based imagers.
  • Automated underwater vehicles - Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) afford their own propulsion there by allowing high-resolution sampling of the ocean’s interior in multiple directions.

Some of the instruments used in water management are:

  • Pressure Transmitters
  • General Service Gauges
  • Pressure Regulators
  • Digital Panel Meters
  • Process Calibrators
  • Thermometers
  • Differential Pressure Gauge and Switches
  • Multi-Point Thermocouple Displays
  • HART Calibrator/Communicator
