Following on from the success of the technical training courses associated with IEX 2008 and 2012, SCI are pleased to present two technical training courses on 9 – 10 July 2014 at the University of Chester. Introduction to Industrial Water Purification by Ion Exchange The introductory course is designed for utilities engineers, plant supervisors, chemists and those needing a better understanding of water purification by ion exchange. It will also be of value to graduate trainees in consultancies, EPC contractors, operating companies and water treatment plant suppliers. Advanced Ion Exchange for Industrial Water Treatment The advanced course is aimed at chemists and engineers with responsibility for the design and modelling of new and existing ion exchange plants and those with responsibility for operating, optimising and troubleshooting existing plants. The trainers are all experienced, practising engineers drawn from ion exchange resin suppliers, water treatment plant designers and consultants in the industry. Places at the training courses are limited and an early bird discount applies until 30 May 2014, so early booking is advised.
