Mazzei Injector Corporation manufactures high efficiency venturi-type patented Mazzei® Injectors for injecting liquids or gasses into water, GDT Degassing Separators for removing gases from water, and Mixing Nozzles. Our engineering staff can assist with product selection and application.
Aeration Basin Treatment with Mazzei® Injectors
Water from the wastewater basin, tank, pond, or lagoon is pumped through High Efficiency Mazzei® Injectors. The Mazzei® Injector aspirates large volumes of air without the need for blowers or compressors. The air/water mixture is discharged through patented Mazzei® Mass Transfer Multiplier (MTM) Nozzles back
into the aeration basin at velocities of 15-20 ft/s, with fine bubble dispersion.
- Highly Energy Efficient Aeration
- Virtually Silent Operation
- All-Weather Operation
- No Water Depth Limitations
- No Temperature Loss as with Surface Aerators
- No Impaired Efficiency or Fouling as with Diffusers

Advantages of Effluent Disinfection with Ozone
Ozone is used in wastewater treatment plants to inactivate bacteria prior to discharging the effluent water.
- Rapidly inactivates fecal coliforms
- No chlorine residual to remove
- Dissolved oxygen is increased

GDT Ozone Contacting Systems
The patented GDT™ process for gas to liquid mass transfer is modular and can support small and large-scale treatment applications through innovative pressurized side stream and/or full flow contacting.
- Mazzei® Injectors aspirate ozone gas, providing dynamic mixing and mass transfer
- Flash Reactors™ enhance dissolution and increase mass transfer of ozone into water
- Degas Separators remove entrained gasses for appropriate off-gas processing
