Video: Sustainable Planet: Environmental Impact Series Television Broadcast In-Pipe was featured in Sustainable Planet's Environmental Impact Series television broadcast, which detailed the company's wastewater treatment technology. President and co-founder Dan Williamson describes how the In-Pipe process provides an economical, environmentally-friendly solution to the treatment problems posed by an ever-growing population. |
AN INNOVATIVE, PROVEN TECHNOLOGY
With a proven technology that actually re-engineers the
biofilm that exists within every sewer system, In-Pipe
Technology's engineered process and comprehensive
service increases the life and utilization of costly wastewater
infrastructure.
Our innovative technology represents a fundamental shift and a substantial improvement in the methods and economics of wastewater treatment. Rather than passively waiting until wastewater arrives at the plant, In-Pipe Technology begins the treatment process far upstream in the collection system, much closer to the source. This enables the biological process to take full advantage of the natural retention time and immense quantities of biofilm in the miles of sewer piping, rapidly and efficiently pretreating the waste en-route to the plant.
This pretreatment technology dramatically improves performance and perfectly complements existing plant processes as well as other newer processes and trends in the wastewater treatment industry.
ONE TECHNOLOGY – UNLIMITED SOLUTIONS
For each customer, In-Pipe Technology engineers tailored
treatment solutions that target their most critical operating
issues.
Our pretreatment process involves the continuous application of select, natural, non-pathogenic microbial formulations of planktonic, facultative bacteria in very high concentrations. They are applied using unobtrusive and safe dosing stations that are strategically located throughout the entire collection system.
In-Pipe Technology completely changes the nature, physical structure and biological activity of sewer biofilm, eliminating the negative metabolic impacts and harmful by-products of the old bacterial community, while increasing and improving the biological treatment within the sewer.
And only In-Pipe Technology has the scientific knowledge and process expertise to generate these positive biological changes in the collection system, producing treatment benefits that are impossible to economically achieve by any other means.
No other wastewater treatment technology provides as many benefits in a single solution.
WHAT IN-PIPE TECHNOLOGY'S CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING ABOUT HOW WE...
Eliminates Odor:
"In the four years since we've been using In-Pipe Technology, we've had much less of a problem with odor."
-- Charles Huell, Collection Systems
City of Jackson, Miss.
Reduces Sludge:
"Since the In-Pipe Technology implementation, we've seen a 65 percent sludge reduction in less than six months."
-- Wayne Hudson, Utility Plant Superintendent
South Mill, Va.
Lowers Operating Costs:
"In-Pipe Technology is doing real well for us. We're saving on electricity. Where we used to use two blowers, we now only use one. And we've been able to cut off air to the digestor. We're very pleased."
-- Albert Holmes, Operator, Wastewater Treatment Plant
City of Greenville, Miss.
Eliminates FOG and Complaints:
"In-Pipe Technology did more than just eliminate our grease problem – it eliminated our complaint problem as well. Storm and sewer overflow isn't a problem for us like it was."
