Aquarius Technologies Inc. is a privately held company established to provide wastewater treatment solutions for industrial and municipal applications around the world. Headquartered in Port Washington, a northern suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Aquarius consists of a group of dedicated engineers, scientists and other professionals focused on providing cost-effective solutions to wastewater treatment problems.

Aquarius was formed around a group of individuals with over 250 years of combined experience in the wastewater treatment industry. The reason the core team of the organization is highlighted is that we feel it is very important for one to understand the level of experience Aquarius commands, as well as specific experience with regard to aeration system design, biological and electro-chemical wastewater treatment design, system engineering and equipment production.

Aquarius produces equipment and processes for the biological and electro-chemical treatment of wastewater. Aquarius markets the patented Multi Stage Activated Biological Process (MSABP) the patented Electro Catalytic Process (ELCAT), Activated Sludge Processes, Coarse Bubble Diffused Aeration and Fine Pore Diffused Aeration Equipment.

The MSABP is an innovative and advanced proprietary process for treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater based on spatial microorganism succession and microbial food chains. This MSABP design leads to a near total consumption of waste activated sludge by primary microorganisms, with substantial reduction in the need for waste sludge handling.

The ELCAT is a proprietary electro-catalytic wastewater treatment process that offers a high degree of treatment of toxic, non-biodegradable materials quickly and at low cost. The ELCAT would be applicable for wastewaters that are not easily biodegradable. The synergetic effect of the electrochemical and catalytic oxidation methods of ELCAT treatment leads to full color removal, detoxification and odor elimination.

Aquarius offers factory assembled or field constructed custom designed activated sludge processes for reduction of biochemical oxygen demand, total suspended solids, total nitrogen and phosphorus. Processes can include flow equalization, contact stabilization, extended aeration, BNR, ENR, attached growth media, and aerobic sludge stabilization/holding.

Depending on the customer's desires, Aquarius can provide complete systems or only key portions of the system, including process design. Customers can reduce their associated engineering and construction costs, plus have a shorter concept to completion timeline, if Aquarius provides a completely integrated solution.

The Aquarius aeration systems have been developed by our team of engineers with an unparalleled background of experience in the design, application and operation of wastewater treatment aeration systems. This experience comes with the knowledge that a high performance diffuser requires an equally well engineered piping system to support it. Moreover, our unique experience allowed us to improve upon a basic aeration system design that was well proven over the past decades. The Aquarius aeration systems are a culmination of this experience.
