If you're in the market for potable water storage, don't be fooled into thinking that all tanks are pretty much the same. Whether you plan to store potable water or other liquids, it is important to remember that each material is unique and has its own specific requirements.
Anyone who works with potable water will understand that corrosion is the principal enemy of the liquid storage tank. Because all types of stored liquids are aggressive toward tanks, the coating found on the interior is one of the most important factors to consider. In addition to corrosion resistance, quality coatings provide chemical resistance, and the better quality coatings applied will directly affect the tank's maintenance requirements and need for recoating during its lifespan.
