WesTech Engineering is announcing that the quality system of its Iowa office has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification. The facility oversees the General Filter and Microfloc product lines.

The ISO 9001 certification is a process that documents and verifies that a facility consistently operates at a world-class quality level.

To achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification, WesTech’s facility in Ames, Iowa, had to meet the latest international ISO requirements for a quality management system. WesTech did this by demonstrating the ability its Iowa facility to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

WesTech’s Salt Lake City headquarters have been ISO 9001 certified since 1994. WesTech placed priority on gaining ISO 9001:2008 certification for its Iowa operation upon acquiring the General Filter and Microfloc product lines from Siemens in September, 2012.

“This ISO 9001:2008 certification demonstrates our ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction through quality control,” said Rex Plaizier, President and CEO, WesTech Engineering.
