Visit Booth 4062 to view peristaltic technology ideal for water treatment applications

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) is showcasing its range of peristaltic pump technology ideal for water and wastewater treatment applications in Booth 4062 at WEFTEC, the Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference. The conference will be held September 28-30, 2015, McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.

Stop by the booth to see the Bredel APEX range of seal-less, valve-less hose pumps, which are ideal for chemically aggressive or abrasive applications, especially for water and wastewater treatment. APEX hose pumps are designed for dosing, metering, and transfer duties from 0.012 gallons per minute (GPM) to 27.3 GPM, at pressures up to 116 psi.

The higher flow per revolution means APEX pumps can be run at lower speeds, increasing hose life and reducing wear. Most recently the APEX performance envelope was widened with the addition of the new APEX28 and APEX35 models. Recent international product trials demonstrated that the new APEX models can dramatically extend the time between scheduled maintenance intervals compared with air-operated diaphragm pumps and progressive cavity pumps.

With no costly wear components such as seals, valves, membranes or rotors to maintain, APEX is ideal for handling abrasive slurries and aggressive chemicals. The precision machined hose element and optimized hose compression ensures accurate and repeatable performance. A choice of hose materials ensures compatibility with a wide range of fluids, including aggressive chemicals, abrasive slurries, and fluids with high solids content.

Also on display will be the Qdos range of peristaltic metering pumps, ideal for disinfection, pH adjustment, and flocculation of drinking water, wastewater and industrial process water. Handling flow rates from 0.001 to 15 gallons per hour at 100 psi, the Qdos pump was specifically designed to reduce chemical metering costs compared to conventional solenoid or stepper-driven diaphragm metering pumps.
