Water Community Urges Consumers To Drink Up During Drinking Water Week

As Drinking Water Week continues, the American Water Works Association and water professionals across the country are highlighting the importance of drinking water daily.

Along with the Partnership for a Healthier America’s Drink Up effort, AWWA encourages consumers to understand the health benefits of drinking plenty of water every day. Drink Up works with stakeholders across the public and private sectors who are dedicated to encouraging people to drink more water more often.

“We wholeheartedly endorse the message of the Drink Up initiative to inspire others to understand the multifaceted benefits to drinking water daily,” said AWWA Chief Executive Officer David LaFrance. “This effort aligns with this year’s Drinking Water Week theme since one of the primary responsibilities in getting to know our water is getting to know the health benefits of drinking it.”
