United Envirotech MBR To Treat Chinese Textile Wastewater

Bishui Lantian Water Co Ltd (BSLT) has selected United Envirotech Ltd to construct a 60 000 m3/day underground membrane bioreactor (MBR) plant to treat wastewater from a textile industrial park in Baoding’s Gaoyang County in Hebei province, China.

The new MBR plant is the phase 3 expansion of an existing 140 000 m3/day wastewater treatment plant serving the industrial park.

United Envirotech's  RMB250 million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project will start immediately and is expected to be completed by the end of 2014.

The company has also signed a framework agreement with BSLT’s parent company Hebei Hongrun New Material Co Ltd to set up a joint venture to collaborate on future projects on wastewater treatment plant upgrading, recycling, supply of steam and the acquisition of its existing water treatment assets.
