The National Association Of Water Companies Receives ‘Outstanding Achievement' Honor From The Interactive Media Awards
The National Association of Water Companies (NAWC) recently announced that its Living Water Awards initiative has received an “Outstanding Achievement Award” from the Interactive Media Awards (IMA). The Living Water Awards honor employees of the NAWC’s member companies who have made exceptional contributions to the water industry. The program, developed through a partnership with advertising and design firm Creative Co-op, received the second highest honor given by the IMA, scoring 472 points out of 500.
The NAWC Living Water Awards program is a social media-based way for private water professionals to recognize their colleagues who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to quality, service and community. Once finalists are identified, the voting process to select a winner takes place on NAWC's Facebook page. To date, five winners from NAWC's member companies have been named.
“We couldn’t be more pleased that the Living Water Awards earned this incredible distinction,” said Michael Deane, executive director of the NAWC, “The Living Water Awards highlight some of the most dedicated professionals and innovative thinkers in the water industry, and we are honored that the IMA has chosen to shine a spotlight on this program.”
The IMA recognizes organizations for their outstanding achievement in website design and development. Created by the Interactive Media Council, Inc. (IMC), a nonprofit organization of prominent web designers, developers and other web-related professionals, the international competition is intended to elevate the standards of excellence on the internet.
