Syrinix Announces Entry Into Nevada

Syrinix, a leading provider of intelligent pipeline monitoring solutions, is excited to announce its entry into the state of Nevada, USA.

Following a succession of meetings with WaterStart, the Governor’s office of Economic Development (GOED), the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA), and the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA), Syrinix’s PipeMinder has been approved for installation to give a clearer picture of events and stresses on the Nevada State networks.

With its ‘always on’ high resolution monitoring, PipeMinder provides a view of pressures, flows and stresses on supply networks, utilizing a cloud based data analytics platform – RADAR. This level of detailed information enables utilities to make informed planning decisions with reference to asset management and infrastructure maintenance.

“Nevada offers a fantastic opportunity for Syrinix to spread the reach of its advanced technologies, with the SNWA offering itself up as a centre of excellence for other utilities to view their findings and spread the importance of this kind of monitoring,” said Cliff Jones, Senior Vice President at Syrinix. “Deployed across a network, PipeMinder offers accuracy and peace of mind not yet seen in the industry, opening up a major new front in network calming, monitoring and leakage and burst reduction strategies.”

“Nevada is at the cutting-edge of managing water resources more effectively,” said Nate Allen, Executive Director at WaterStart. “We are excited to add Syrinix to the growing list of water technology companies working to spur innovation and economic growth in the state of Nevada.”

“Syrinix will benefit from Nevada’s longstanding position as a global leader in water innovation,” said Morgan Bunker, Vice President of Economic Development of the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA). “As we prepare for the future, we are focused on both sustainability in economic development as well as sustainability as economic development.”

“The Governor’s trade mission to Europe last summer was an incredible opportunity to showcase the water economy that we are developing in our state and opened up the channels to partner with innovative water tech companies such as Syrinix to address the needs of WaterStart clients,” said Steve Hill, Director of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development. “As a desert state with a dense population and large water demand, our municipal water systems need to be able to function at a high level under high demand. The technology that Syrinix brings to southern Nevada will enhance the region’s water conservation and allow the company to expand to the United States for the first time.”
