Surface Drainage Matting

Colbond Geosyntheticsng a fused, entangled filament core and a geotextile fabric, Enkadrain surface drainage matting is designed to relieve hydrostatic pressure from backfills abutting below grade structures. The geotextile fabric, bonded to one side or fully encapsulation the core, helps develop a natural soil filter where the geotextile and soil meet. A perforated pipe, weep hole or other discharge system is attached to the resilient polymer core to convey water that seeps through the matting. Foundations, retaining walls and other below-grade structures can use this system as protection from soil and water pressure.
