BIOACTIFLO™ Wet Weather Treatment
Kruger’s BIOACTIFLO™ is a high-rate clarification system that combines the basic principles of contact stabilization with microsand ballasted clarification to dramatically reduce TSS, Total BOD, Total P, and Pathogens found in municipal storm water flows. BIOACTIFLO™ effluent is easily disinfected with either chlorine or UV, and the process operates with a short start-up time and a small footprint. BIOACTIFLO™ is an efficient, cost-effective solution to eliminate storm water overflows. Learn more.

Natural Odor Control For Wastewater Treatment Processes
By OMI Industries
Industrial and municipal wastewater treatment generates odors that can be strong, persistent, and a nuisance to employees, residents, businesses, and industries located near the wastewater treatment plant. Each plant has its own particular problem areas, all of which can be remedied with the atomization of Ecosorb odor control products at strategic points to manage these industrial smells.

Overcoming Enviro Regs Through Zero Liquid Discharge
By Aquatech International Corporation
The cooling tower blowdown (CTBD) stream at a cogeneration plant contained high solids content that could not simply be discharged due to environmental regulations. The existing process for CTBD treatment utilized a two-stage side stream reverse osmosis (RO) system, which reduced the wastewater volume by about 75%. Due to the problems in the upstream plant design, the RO recovery was not being achieved. Enter zero liquid discharge.
