San Jose Selects Innovyze's InfoMaster Strategic Asset Management Solution

The move will provide the City with a comprehensive, intuitive, GIS-centric solution for data collection and management, risk- and condition-based maintenance planning, predictive analytics and decision analysis.
San Jose, California, located in Santa Clara County, is the largest city in the San Francisco Bay Area. The City owns and operates the sewer collection system consisting of approximately 2,200 miles of sanitary sewer mains (which vary in size from 6 inches to 90 inches in diameter and range from 100 years old to brand new). The system includes 10 miles of force mains, 45,000 manholes, over 202,000 laterals, and 16 pump stations. It serves 250,000 residential and commercial connections in an area of 178 square miles. The collected wastewater is conveyed to the San Jose/Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility by major interceptor pipelines located in the northern part of San Jose. To optimize its capital improvement program and maintain the highest level of customer service, San Jose initiated a comprehensive risk-based condition assessment program to determine the overall condition of its sanitary sewer system and identify the level of effort and budget required to maintain and improve it. All inspection will be done in accordance with NASSCO PACP standards.
