Quality Data Management: An Essential Component Of US Water Infrastructure

The standards for environmental testing are more rigorous and far reaching than ever. At the same time, the U.S. water infrastructure has reached the age where replacement is critical. Laboratories and testing facilities trying to address both issues should consider implementing a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). A LIMS, which replaces paper-based systems, can increase sample throughput, expand as needed to comply with changing regulations and significantly improve operational efficiencies.
