Praxair Presents Wastewater Treatment Offerings At WEFTEC 2016

Praxair, Inc. announced recently that the company will be delivering a technical presentation and exhibiting in booth 2801 at the 89th Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference, WEFTEC 2016. The conference is being held September 24-28 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. The exhibits are open Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM.

Dr. Randall Marx of Praxair's Global Market Development team will present a technical paper titled, "Pure Oxygen Aeration for Odor Control at a Meat-Processing Wastewater Pretreatment Plant," during Session 207 on Monday, September 26 at 2:00 PM in Room 355. Pure-oxygen aeration with the Praxair I-SO™ oxygenator can address septic odor conditions in aeration ponds by reducing emissions and restoring aerobic conditions.

Praxair’s expertise in the water and wastewater treatment industry can help water treatment facilities reliably meet process challenges. This year’s exhibit will include supply and distribution methods of on-site, bulk and packaged gas products as well as processing equipment. Among the options are Praxair’s state-of-the-art Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption (VPSA) supply systems, which are capable of meeting gaseous oxygen needs from 30 to 200 metric tons per day. VPSA supply is a highly reliable and cost-effective way to supply oxygen to water treatment equipment.

Additionally, attendees can meet with Praxair experts to learn more about the company’s experience serving municipalities, providing oxygen-enriched treatment methods for aerobic digestion, supplying carbon dioxide for pH control and other technologies that help customers meet their specific water and wastewater management goals.
