Plymouth Technology Vice President Steven Buday To Present At The Association Of Water Technologies Annual Convention

Mr. Buday will be presenting on September 12th, 2015 in Nashville, TN and will cover non-conventional uses of sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate (DTC) and polyethyleneiminedithiocarbamate in industrial waste treatment.

Steven Buday, Vice President and Technical Director at Plymouth Technology, will be sharing over 10 years of experience and knowledge with industry professionals on a novel application of metal precipitants. Steven will be speaking from 10:45am to 11:15am.

This presentation will cover a basic overview of the use of metal precipitants, including both the advantages and disadvantages of two carbamate-based metal precipitants. This will be followed by two novel application techniques found in industrial manufacturing wastewater treatment.

Over the past 12 years, Steven has presented on metal removal techniques to the EPA, the Electrocoat Association, and the Water Environment Federation and had several articles in publications such as Pollution Engineering. Steven earned his B.S. in biology and chemistry from Eastern Michigan University and his M.S. in chemistry from Oakland University, where he developed a novel media for arsenic removal.
