The sensor was developed for use in municipal waste water applications.

The NO3D sc sensor with ion-selective electrode (ISE sensor) is a continuous online process sensor for the measurement of nitrate directly in the tank. It operates without reagents and requires no further processing of the sample. The nitrate ions are measured using an ion-selective electrode.
