New ABB Brochure Describes In-Situ Endura AZ Oxygen Series Analyzers For Combustion Gas Flue Ducts

ABB’s Measurement & Analytics business announces availability of the eight-page, full-color brochure that describes the in-situ Endura AZ oxygen analyzer series for process combustion control or emissions monitoring. According to the brochure, the analyzer's sensor, based on the proven zirconium oxide cell, mounts on the tip of a probe inserted into a combustion gas flue duct. Probes may range up to 13 feet long, and deliver stability and accuracy in dusty, humid, corrosive, and hazardous areas. The probes withstand process temperatures of 800°C (1472°F).

The brochure says that these oxygen analyzers simplify use, offering self-calibration and diagnostics as well as user-friendly interfaces. For installation flexibility, process engineers can choose from industry standard flange configurations and extensive options. Complete site serviceability results from fast, easy access to analyzer components. Associated transmitters provide easy configuration, monitoring and diagnostics, as well as HART communications.

Models in the analyzer series covered in the brochure include:

• Endura AZ20 -- Accurate and rapid oxygen sensing
• Endura AZ25 -- High temperature combustion gas oxygen analyzer
• Endura AZ30 -- Explosion-proof/flameproof combustion gas analyzer for hazardous areas.
• Endura AZ40 – Advanced version, measuring oxygen and unburned fuel in a single device and backwards compatible with proven SMA90 systems.

Summing up, the brochure notes that these Endura AZ series analyzers bring greater levels of efficiency and simplicity to help operators fine-tune combustion processes, lower fuel costs, and reduce production of nitrogen oxides.
