NeoTech Aqua Solutions, Inc. Announces New NSF/ANSI Standard 61 Certification
NeoTech Aqua Solutions, Inc., the industry leader in High-Efficiency Ultra-Violet (UV) water treatment systems announces its new NSF/ANSI Standard 61 certification from the National Sanitation Foundation. The certification confirms that all materials used in the NeoTech Aqua Solutions line of UV systems comply with NSF’s requirements for drinking water systems.
The NSF/ANSI Standard 61 certification is the final certification necessary for NeoTech to begin selling UV equipment for municipal drinking water facilities in the United States. Earlier this year, the US Environmental Protection Agency granted NeoTech Aqua EPA-ETV certification for municipal drinking water systems.
“The NSF/ANSI Standard 61 certification, combined with our EPA-ETV certification, marks a critical new phase for NeoTech Aqua Solutions and the municipal water treatment community,” commented Stephen Dunham, NeoTech Aqua’s President/CEO. “Now municipalities can capture the practical advantages inherent to our technology, all of which reduce costs and minimize our customers’ carbon footprint compared to conventional UV systems.
According to Debra Kaye, NeoTech’s Vice President of Global Municipal Technologies, “NeoTech’s unique ability to substantially reduce our customers’ power consumption, number of lamps, maintenance and spatial requirements, along with a host of other technical advantages, has been proven at hundreds of industrial installations around the world. Now our patented high-efficiency UV technology can be utilized at municipal water treatment plants throughout the US and globally.
