Pure steam is a dependable method for sterilizing pharmaceutical product materials such as equipment parts, instruments, and containers. The removal of dissolved gasses is a necessary step in the steam generation process, in order to meet regional pharmacopeia criteria. Membrane contractors offer a method of gas removal that requires lower initial investment and operating costs than double-pass RO with pH adjustment.
