MagneGas Announces Participants For World Water Day Summit At The UN

In partnership with The Jack Brewer Foundation and the U.S. Federation for Middle East Peace, the summit will unite diplomats, high-level executives, international organizations and industry leaders in celebration of water and sustainable development.

MagneGas Corporation in partnership with The Jack Brewer Foundation (JBF Worldwide) and the U.S. Federation for Middle East Peace (USFMEP), will be hosting a World Water Day Summit on Monday, March 23, 2015 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.

In 2015, the theme for World Water Day is 'Water and Sustainable Development.' In keeping with this year’s theme, the World Water Day Summit will feature panel discussions on “Waste Water and Irrigation Challenges” and “Sustainable Innovations for Water Procurement”.

The Summit will begin with a welcome from the CEO of MagneGas Corporation Ermanno Santilli, President of the U.S. Federation for Middle East Peace Sally Kader, Founder of JBF Worldwide Ambassador Jack Brewer, and Inspector Matthew Sullivan of the United Nations Department of Safety and Security. The following Ambassadors will speak on the importance of World Water Day and the proactive approach made to both sanitation and water access in their countries, H.E. Ambassador Elliston Rahming, Permanent Representative of the Permanent Mission of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas to the United Nations; H.E. Ambassador Denis G. Antoine Permanent Representative of the Permanent Mission of Grenada to the United Nations; H.E. Ambassador Juan Carlos Mendoza, Permanent Representative of the Permanent Mission of Costa Rica to the United Nations; H.E Ambassador Eden Charles, Deputy Permanent Representative of Charge d'Affaires of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to the United Nations; and H.E. Ambassador E. Courtenay Rattray, Permanent Representative of the Permanent Mission of Jamaica to the United Nations.

Panel participants include Executive Director of the International Private Water Association Kathy Shandling, a representative from the agricultural business community, Co-Founder and CTO of Epiphany Solar Water Solutions Tom Joseph, and MagneGas Executive Vice President Global Equipment Sales Jim Cohen. Also in attendance to the Summit will be representatives from the World Health Organization, UNICEF, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

The World Water Day Summit will provide a high-level platform for dialogue surrounding sustainable development and global efforts to manage clean water. United Nations Ambassadors and diplomats, industry leaders including sustainability companies and environmental organizations, and many others will spend the day focusing on the challenges many regions of the world face when it comes to the availability and necessity of clean water. More importantly, innovative solutions will be highlighted and addressed.
