Kruger Retrofit Discfilter Installation In Camas, WA

Kruger Inc., a subsidiary of Veolia Water Technologies, was awarded a contract to furnish a Hydrotech Discfilter system as part of the Phase 2B improvements project for the Camas, WA wastewater treatment facilities. Kruger will provide two (2) Hydrotech Discfilter units along with a controls system. The system is designed to filter a peak flow of 6.0 MGD and provide an effluent Total Suspended Solids concentration of ≤10 mg/L. The system will replace the facility’s current cloth media filtration system.

Kruger’s Hydrotech Discfilter system was selected based on proven experience, technical expertise, extensive installation base, user friendly design, and excellent customer support. In addition, the compact footprint of the Kruger system will allow it to be installed within the footprint of the facility’s existing cloth media filtration system. The new Discfilter system is expected to be operational by the end of 2013.
