Jim Cantore And Jay Mohr To Speak At AWWA's ACE16 In Chicago

Featured speakers will address crowds at Opening General Session and Water Industry Luncheon

The American Water Works Association announced recently that The Weather Channel’s Jim Cantore and comedian Jay Mohr are scheduled to speak during the association’s Annual Conference and Exposition (ACE16), to be held June 19-22 in Chicago, IL.

Cantore will address attendees during the ACE16 Opening General Session at 9 a.m. on Mon., June 20 at the McCormick Place West Convention Center. He will discuss his tenacious reporting, which includes coverage of every major weather event during the past 25 years, the effects of climate change and the power of water. The event will be sponsored by HomeServe, a leading provider of home emergency repair service plans.

Mohr will speak during ACE16’s Water Industry Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Tues., June 21, also at the McCormick Place West Convention Center. Mohr is a versatile comedian, actor, radio host and author. He is known for his stand-up comedy, his work on the movie “Jerry McGuire” and his radio show “Jay Mohr Sports” on Fox Sports Radio. He is also the bestselling author of “Gasping for Airtime”. The event will be sponsored by Aclara, CDM Smith, HDR, Henry Pratt Company and MWH.

Cantore and Mohr will be available after their speaking engagements to meet with attendees in the exhibit hall. Cantore will be in the AWWA Pavilion in booth #547, and Mohr will be available in the AWWA Bookstore in booth #1347.

ACE16, which will bring more than 12,000 water experts to the Chicago area, is the longest running water conference in the world, having first convened in 1881. The event will feature 111 sessions in 19 professional tracks and an exposition of more than 500 companies.
