IRON & MANGANESE REMOVAL - Filtronics Electromedia® I for iron and manganese removal is a compact filtration system that commonly reduces iron and manganese concentrations to below detection limits for high influent levels. Because it is capable of also treating arsenic, it is the preferred filtration system for large and small municipalities. Our Electromedia® I can reduce both capital and operational expenses. Filtronics' Electromedia® is a permanent filtering element which does not require primary media replacement or chemical regeneration. The system design provides a quick backwash cycle, typically 4 minutes in duration, and reclaim of up to 99.9% of its backwash water, limiting the impact on public sewer systems. It is facilitated with an Allen-Bradley automated control panel for ease of use and remote access. With high filtration rates of up to 18 gpm/sq ft, the system provides greater water production within a very small physical space. Considering its multiple applications for iron, manganese, arsenic, and radium filtration, and its demonstrated cost-effectiveness, Filtronics Electromedia® I is without peer.
