Innovative Water Technology Applications Sought For Digestion And Dewatering Enhancements

Selected technologies will be introduced to funders, advisors, and end users for early adoption

Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) - The LIFT Technology Scan Program seeks submissions from innovative technology providers for solutions that can be applied in the water quality industry. The Technology Scan pilot involves two areas for evaluation: sludge digestion enhancements and sludge thickening and dewatering enhancements.

LIFT Technology Scans are designed to move innovation into practice. Audiences for LIFT Technology Scans include more than 200 municipal and industrial facility owners as well as consulting firms and venture capitalists.

LIFT Technology Scans involve identification and evaluation of innovative technologies for their readiness level and review of inventor’s claims. Selected vendors/inventors will be invited to present their ideas to LIFT audiences which are appropriate to their technology readiness level, to garner interest in early adoption of the technology. TheWater Environment Research Foundation will help develop and manage independent, peer-reviewed technology evaluations.

Technology scan applications are due no later than 5:00 p.m. EST on January 23, 2014. Technology providers who submit an application for consideration will be informed within several months regarding the results of the initial evaluation. After the pilot period, LIFT Technology Scans will examine additional technology areas. Over time they will encompass all areas of water technology.
