Innovative Water Technologies Sought For Stormwater And Wastewater Collection/Treatment Operations

LIFT seeks submissions from innovative technology providers for solutions that can be applied in the water quality industry.

Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) - The Leaders Innovation Forum for Technology (LIFT) is now seeking submissions from innovative technology providers for solutions that can be applied in the water quality industry. Through the LIFT Technology Scan and Assessment program, technology providers are offered an optimal platform to introduce their emerging, pre-commercial, and newly commercialized technologies to funders, advisors, and end users.

LIFT Technology Scan submissions must be applicable to municipal and industrial stormwater and wastewater collection and treatment operations in developed nations such as the U.S. Priority topic areas for technologies include, but are not limited to:

  • Biosolids Utilization
  • Energy Capture/Production
  • Conveyance Systems Condition Assessment and Renewal
  • Resource Recovery
  • Nutrient Removal
  • Water Reuse
  • Green Infrastructure and Stormwater BMPs

LIFT Technology Scans involve identification and evaluation of innovative technologies for their readiness level and review of inventor’s claims. Selected vendors/inventors will be invited to present their ideas to Water Environment Research Foundation (WERF) subscribers which are appropriate to their technology readiness level, to garner interest in early adoption. WERF will help develop and manage independent, peer-reviewed technology evaluations of selected technologies.

Technology Scan applications are due no later than 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, September 12th. A complete description of the program and application instructions can be downloaded here. For more information, contact WERF Director of Water Technologies Jeff Moeller at jmoeller@werf.org or Technology and Innovation Manager Ravi George at rgeorge@werf.org.

The Water Environment Research Foundation is America's leading independent scientific research organization dedicated to wastewater and stormwater issues. LIFT is moving innovation into practice.
