Headworks International, Inc., a leading global provider of advanced wastewater treatment processes and equipment for municipal and industrial facilities, is pleased to announce that committed contract awards are set to double over recent years in 2014. The company continues to win multi-million dollar bar screen projects in the U.S. wastewater market and has seen a strong spike in committed contracts resulting in the company’s record doubling of sales.

An example of project wins includes Headworks’ selection by the Hartford Water Pollution Control Facility, the largest wastewater treatment plant in Connecticut, for the supply of nine MS Series Bar Screens. The company’s equipment will be handing a combined total of 750 million gallons per day (MGD).

One of the largest wastewater treatment plants in Indiana, Southport Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility selected Headworks to supply its MS Series Bar Screens to replace their existing equipment. This facility is undergoing a major capacity upgrade and the company is honored to be selected as the equipment of choice.

The City of Louisville, KY selected Headworks MS Series Bar Screens for their Bells Lane plant. These monster screens are 72 feet long, each designed to handle a flow of 160 MGD with an approach velocity of 20 feet/sec, which make this a very unique application and an example of the capability of the MS Series Bar Screen. The Bells Lane facility will provide additional capacity for sewage treatment during rain events and decrease overflow potential to the Ohio River.

Headworks MS Series bar screens were selected for these and many other projects due to their tank-like robust quality and proven trouble-free performance for more than 20 years at wastewater treatment facilities in more than 30 countries.

Commenting on today's announcement Michele LaNoue, CEO of Headworks International, said: "We are delighted to deliver consistent product quality and build on the robust growth we have experienced in the municipal and industrial wastewater markets. These contracts from both new and existing clients and the growth they’ve generated is a resounding endorsement of Headworks International’s value proposition as the gold standard for reliable screening solutions.”
