FMC Corporation Launches Environmental Remediation And Water Treatment Website
FMC Corporation's new environmental website will allow users to easily navigate from environmental challenge to an FMC solution.
FMC Corporation announced recently the launch of its environmental website, environmental.fmc.com. The newly designed website showcases industry-leading products from the Soil and Groundwater Remediation and Water Treatment businesses, technologies and service model, as well as access to the technical resources necessary to help customers solve contamination challenges in the most complex environments.
“The needs of our customers were the top priority when building this digital resource. In some cases, customers will know the solution they need to solve the environmental issue. Most of the time however, customers know the problem, but are unsure of the best product and approach for treatment,” said Amie Dunn, marketing communications manager, FMC Global Peroxygens. “Our new site is an intuitive experience making it easy for the user to search by product or contaminant. Recognizing customers’ challenges and providing possible solutions – at the onset during their web visits – is the first step in our commitment to stand beside a customer every step of the way.”
In addition to offering easy to navigate solutions, the website offers various tools to help customers, partners and others in the industry expand their knowledge on pertinent topics that affect environmental remediation. The site is now home to an ongoing series of Soil & Groundwater Remediation webinars, intended to engage members of the industry in conversation about the science behind some of today's most innovative remedial treatments. Leveraging FMC’s internal and external network of experts to promote education and understanding among consulting engineers, owners of remediation sites, regulators and others in the remediation field, the webinars feature a scientific discussion on the topic of choice led by an industry expert, followed by the presentation of a case study and concluding with a question and answer session.
Also featured on the website are case studies that explore the successful trials of the Water Treatment team’s premier product VigorOx WWT II wastewater disinfection technology, a peracetic acid (PAA)-based formulation. Environmentally responsible and economically minded, VigorOx WWT II is the disinfection technology alternative to chlorine and others.
