Encore® 700 Chemical Feed Pump Provides Reliable Metering With Minimal Maintenance For Over A Decade At One Of New York's Largest Water Districts

Source: Cleanwater1

Jericho Water District (JWD) is one of the largest water districts in New York, serving 58,000 people through 18,604 residential and commercial service connections on Long Island. Around 4.7 billion gallons of water are produced each year from 25 wells with a daily average of nearly 13 million gallons per day treated and pumped into the distribution system. The district pumps sodium hydroxide into the raw water to increase the pH and control corrosion in the pipes.

In 2001, JWD installed its first Encore® 700 pump at a new pump house in Muttontown, New York.
