EarthTec QZ Launched As Zebra And Quagga Mussel Prevention For All Water Systems

EarthTec QZ Gains EPA and NSF Approval to Provide Industry’s Most Economical Answer to Zebra and Quagga Mussel Proliferation

Earth Science Laboratories Inc officially launched recently its EarthTec QZ product to control zebra and quagga mussels in a cost-effective and environmentally friendly manner. EarthTec QZ is the first and only chemical control method currently approved by both the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use in open waters and by the National Science Foundation (NSF) for use in drinking water.

Several studies have confirmed that EarthTec QZ provides 100% mortality of zebra and quagga mussels at economical concentrations that are safe for drinking water, making EarthTec QZ an attractive solution for municipal water agencies, lake owners and other bodies of water that struggle to prevent or contain the proliferation of zebra and quagga mussels.*

“Research indicates that our product is more effective at lower cost than our competitors‘, which represents a huge advantage for customers, who now have a practical and economical solution for combating what has become an enormous problem in the Great Lakes region, the Western US, and other pockets of the country,“ said Dave Carrington, EarthTec Business Manager for Earth Science Labs. “Having EPA and NSF approval has been very important to us and we’re very proud of that distinction.“
