Why Generation 5?
Aerzener Maschinenfabrik was the first blower manufacturer to design a compact unit in 1960 and has developed this machine type continuously ever since. Delta Blower Generation 5 offers 5 main advantages for the customers. 5 main advantages which led to the name "Generation 5".
The innovative series has been available in 10 machines sizes for overpressure applications up to 1000 mbar in nominal widths from DN 50 to DN 200 and intake volume flows of approx. 30 m3/h up to 3,600 m3/h. The range of blower units for upper volume flow is expanded by the new machine types GM 80L-G5 and GM 90S-G5 in nominal width of DN 250. Intake volumes of 1,140 m3/h up to 5,400 m3/h at max. positive pressures up to 1,000 mbar are covered herewith. Motor ratings of 18,5 kW up to max. 200 kW can be installed.
Lower Sound Levels
Compared with the previous generation the sound levels of the Delta Blower Generation 5 series have been reduced by an average of 6 - 8 dB(A), in some single cases even lower sound levels have been achieved. The silencing system within the units is totally reactive; therefore the danger of contamination from absorption material is eliminated. Due to these considerable sound reductions, expensive measures, such as special acoustic hoods are no longer required.
