Call For Papers: IWA New Developments In IT & Water Conference

The International Water Association and the organizers of WWEM, the International Water, Wastewater & Environmental Monitoring Conference have the pleasure to announce a Call for Papers, Posters, and Workshops for the 3rd IWA New Developments in IT & Water Conference, which will be held in conjunction with the Water, Wastewater & Environmental Monitoring Conference in the UK this November.

The use of instrumentation, data, modeling, and process control has become an essential part of the modern water industry as we face greater demands, from environmental to financial. Addressing challenges ranging from population growth to climate change to improved environmental quality has meant that the water industry has had to provide an enhanced service for less.

The development of a more efficient service has been, at least in part, addressed by improved technology in IT & Water. It has, though, brought challenges in areas such as cybersecurity and opportunities in areas such as the Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, and Software as a Service.
