Call For Papers Deadline Approaching For AWWA's New Water Infrastructure Conference & Exposition

The American Water Works Association is seeking abstracts for the latest Water Infrastructure Conference & Exposition taking place in Atlanta, Ga., Oct. 26 - 29, 2014. Individuals interested in presenting must submit abstracts by 4 p.m. MST on Jan. 17, 2014 for consideration.

This new conference will address leading-edge water infrastructure challenges and provide water professionals with the tools for critical water infrastructure planning, reinvestment strategies, comprehensive emergency preparedness planning and enhanced security measures.

The conference technical program will include categories on managing cyber risk for water utilities; risk/resilience management – ANSI/AWWA J100 Standard implementation; critical infrastructure - protection and failure response; WARN: Water sector resilience in action; continuity planning for infrastructure management; asset management; innovations for infrastructure management; transforming water utility capital planning; capital projects; technology/tools for utilities; system modeling; smart water networks; sustainable infrastructure design; infrastructure design and CIP; infrastructure operations and maintenance; and pipeline management in the water sector.
