BlueTech Research's MOU With WEF To Provide WEF Members Access To Online Water Intelligence Platform
Under existing MOU, WEF members will gain special access to the newly released intelligence platform for even more insight and analysis into the water technology industry
BlueTech Research, an O2 Environmental subsidiary and independent water technology market intelligence firm, and the Water Environment Federation (WEF) will grant special access for WEF’s 36,000+ members and 75 member associations to elements of the newly released BlueTech 6.0 Intelligence Platform under an existing memorandum of understanding (MOU).
BlueTech 6.0, the cornerstone of BlueTech Research, is an online water technology intelligence platform that provides a systematic way for clients to map market trends, dynamics, and opportunities, and understand technology drivers, competitive landscapes, patents/licenses and key opportunities.
“We built BlueTech 6.0 to provide key water industry players – both insiders and outsiders – with the ability to intelligently navigate the complex water industry, gain answers to critical questions, and inform strategic business decisions. The BlueTech Research team engaged key clients, industry stakeholders, thought leaders, investors and research institutes to determine their specific needs and developed the platform to meet those needs,” says Paul O’Callaghan, CEO, BlueTech Research.
The water market encompasses multiple technologies, industries and specialties. To outsiders, the market may seem impenetrable. To insiders and those involved in an industry niche, it can be quite challenging to get a bird’s eye perspective or to understand how macro trends affect the potential market for innovative and new technologies.
The BlueTech 6.0 system architecture enables users to access data and information that has been distilled into actionable intelligence and to accurately map the water industry with:
• A range of products and services (i.e., data sets, webinars, reports, monthly briefings) • Three proprietary universal filters (i.e., technology, theme and application) • Cross-mapping capabilities by BlueTech Research’s four practice areas – Water Re-use and Alternative Water, Energy and Resource Recovery, Unconventional Fossil Fuels, and Smart Water – areas that BlueTech Research forecasts to provide the greatest opportunities for tech innovation and market growth in the next 5-10 years.
O’Callaghan adds that “BlueTech 6.0 is a requirement for doing business in the water industry.”
BlueTech Research will publicly launch the BlueTech 6.0 Intelligence Platform at WEFTEC 2013 in Chicago on Monday, October 7. For more information about WEFTEC 2013, visit www.weftec.org.
