BioAir Solutions To Preview Expanded R&D Initiatives At WEFTEC In New Orleans

BioAir Solutions, a leading North American provider of biological odor and air emission control solutions, plans to preview its expanded research and development initiative to visitors and customers at the 2014 Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC). BioAir Solutions will occupy Booth #1235 at this year’s conference to be held in New Orleans, LA.

In addition to providing details about the R&D emphasis, which will include the introduction of a Mobile Research Center that consists of a portable, fully-automated multi-reactor testing facility, BioAir will be previewing new technology for odor removal for extremely high loading applications. These units feature an enhanced process design of BioAir’s state-of-the-art technology in roughly one-sixth the size of traditional odor control systems. This new technology will be capable of handling ultra-high loads of odorous compounds with up to 99.9 percent removal rates. The smaller footprint means lower fabrication costs, which means savings that can be passed on to the customer.

Among the new products to be introduced at WEFTEC is an integrated degasification and odor control technology for removal of H2S from drinking water streams. BioAir will be able to treat a customer’s odorous water issue from start to finish, designing a unified process to degasify the water and treat the resulting odorous air. BioAir will also provide additional details about its continuing global expansion in the Middle East, Australia and the Caribbean.

“WEFTEC is an excellent place to introduce our industry-leading advancements,” said Louis le Roux, president of BioAir Solutions. “This is the largest conference of its kind in North America and offers water quality professionals from around the world with the best water quality education and training available today. We are excited to share our research and development pipeline with the industry assembled at WEFTEC.”
