Aeration; Floating Brush Rotor Aerator

Mounting S&N's unique rotor on an adjustable floating platform insures optimum operating depth for maximum mixing and oxygen transfer
Our Blade Makes a Difference in Wastewater Treatment!

Mounting S&N's unique rotor on an adjustable floating platform insures optimum operating depth for maximum mixing and oxygen transfer.

  • Operates at deeper depths.
  • Enables the S&N AIROFLO Aerator to MAXIMIZE both MIXING and OXYGEN TRANSFER in Wastewater Treatment.
  • More Oxygen, More Mixing -- Less HP provides 30 to 80% energy savings compared to conventional equipment.
  • Available in 20 HP, 15 HP, 10 HP, 7.5 HP and 5 HP models. (3 Phase, Single Phase, Stainless Steel, and Hot Dipped Galvanized)

Features:

    Rotor Blades:
    • Dual length rotor blades with a spiral design
    • 108 rotor blades with 52 @ 13 3/4" long and 56 @ 16 1/4" long
    • Main core is 8" diameter structural tubing 10' 6" long
    • Overall diameter of the rotor is 36 1/2"
    • Drive shaft is 304 SS with 2 7/16" diameter and tail shaft is 304 SS with 2 3/16" diameter
    • Drive shaft assembly utilizes a "Bolt-On Shaft" design which entails the shaft being welded to a machined flanged 1/2" x 12" steel plate and supported with four(4) inside gussets for strength
    • Tail shaft assembly utilizes a double bulkhead design that passes the shaft through two(2) - 1/2" x 8" steel plates, with four(4) inside gussets for strength
    • Hot-dipped galvanized (thickness 7 to 8 mils)

    Operation:
    • Rotor blades are set at a depth of 7 1/2" for Optimum Oxygen Transfer and Mixing
    • Proven field transfer rate of 2.3 lbO2/Hp-hr
