Infilco Degremont Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Richmond, VA — Joe Giannone, has been appointed COO of Infilco Degremont, Inc. (IDI), and remains President of Ozonia North America, as part of a strategic move by Degremont, S.A. to consolidate its North American equipment business line. Degremont's equipment business line is now represented by four affiliates in North America: Infilco Degremont, Inc., based in Richmond, Virginia; Ozonia North America, based in Elmwood Park, New Jersey; Degremont Limitée, based in Montreal, Quebec; and Anderson Water Systems, based in Dundas, Ontario.

Mr. Giannone is a professional engineer with over 25 years of experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry. "We welcome Joe, plus we are thrilled with the experience and relationships he brings to IDI", said Infilco Degremont CEO Marc Hauchecorne. Added IDI Vice President of Municipal Sales and Marketing Ilan Wilf, "Not only is Joe a tremendous asset to our business, but the business line unification brings new synergies to the group. Infilco Degremont and Ozonia already share sales networks and have jointly executed disinfection projects, so this move is a natural fit."
