The Cannon Mixer is a proven anaerobic digester mixer. Using large distinct bubbles, the Cannon Mixer combines integral mixing and heating within one tank. The result is a reduction of volatile solids and sludge volume, greater overall gas production, and improved sludge dewatering.

• Complete tank mixing (90% plus active volume) means less scum formation and solids deposition and better volatile destruction.
• The overall energy requirement is low, offering a 50% reduction in operating costs over conventional systems. Accurate temperature control (to within 1º F) -- even in the largest digesters.
• There are no submerged moving parts, so installation and maintenance costs are minimized.

Infilco Degremont's Cannon Mixer system can be used for mixing municipal or industrial wastes, for deep-tank blending of high viscosity liquids, and for de-icing applications. Heating jackets that eliminate the need for an external heat exchanger are optional.
