WEDECO TUV-15 Photometer by Xylem
The TUV-15 is specially designed for the quick and easy on-site measurement of UV transmittance. It is used to assist in the optimum design of a UV disinfection system; monitor the UV transmittance (254 nm) during system operation for compliance with the original design; and indicate the water quality as it pertains to UV disinfection.

Construction
The unit utilizes an ultrapure quartz cuvette, which is filled with the sample liquid to be measured. The quartz cuvette is inserted in the unit between the UV lamp and the measurement sensor. A comparative measurement with the UV stable reference liquid indicates the percent of UV transmittance through the sample being tested.
