Water Main Installation is intended to follow the course on Distribution System Materials and Equipment by continuing with information on water distribution system design and layout; details of excavation and water main installation in the excavation; and backfilling the trench, disinfecting the piping, and testing the system before it is put in to use. It is suitable for beginning-level operators.
