Water Infiltration - Manholes Project Profile
Large diameter (8 ft. ID) manholes were leaking extensively and almost constantly through joints in precast sections and around penetrations. A material was required that would flow into tight spaces and also set up rapidly enough that it would not be washed away before curing.
The dual cartridge application accomplished this, allowing the contractor to move rapidly around the entire diameter of leaking joints and penetrations without the need for a pump, hoses or exterior mixing of various components.
