The Real UVT meter is a portable instrument that can measure UV transmittance (UVT) and UV absorbance (UVA) at the 254 nm wavelength in the field within minutes.
The Real UVT meter utilizes Real Tech Inc.'s patented Split-Sense technology to give it many advantages such as its fast 1 minute warm-up time, extreme accuracy and repeatability.
The Real UVT meter's exclusive Split-Sense technology works by using a single beam of UV light to take continuous readings both before and after the insertion of the quartz cuvette allowing for compensation for the effects of UV lamp drifts and fluctuations.
Split-Sense technology is also to thank for the portable Real UVT meter's latest benefit which is the meters new calibration memory feature. This features allows accurate readings with the meter to be performed without the need to first calibrate the meter with a 100% pure DI water sample even after the meter has been powered off.
We still recommend that the user verify their meter's calibration or recalibrate the meter periodically to ensure optimal performance but calibration of the meter before every use is not required. This new exclusive feature to the Real UVT meter further improves the meters ease of use and ability to perform a UV254 test anywhere, anytime.
The Real UVT has been designed to cope with the harsh conditions encountered in the field. However, the extreme accuracy of the Real UVT meter makes it a valuable addition to any water analysis laboratory.
To ensure the Real UVT is always providing the user with accurate results, the Real UVT utilizes a built-in fault detection system. This advanced monitoring capability notifies the user in the event that the system's lamp or sensor are not performing as required, giving the user added confidence in the Real UVT meter.
The Real UVT is user friendly, with a back-lit digital LCD display that provides users with instructions and system messages. As well, a detailed list of instructions and operating guidelines is conveniently provided inside the lid of the Real UVT.
The Real UVT meter comes complete with a wall and car power adapters, however the Real UVT also has a battery pack option which furthers the use and versatility of the meter.
